Peran Filsafat Pendidikan dalam Pembentukan Kepribadian Holistik dan Muslim

Abstract

Education aims to achieve balanced growth in the total human personality, through spiritual training, intelligence, ratios, feelings and the five senses. Therefore, education provides services for human growth in all its aspects; spiritual, intellectual, imagination, physical, scientific, linguistic, both individually and collectively, towards goodness and the achievement of perfection. Al-Syaibaniy: philosophy is not wisdom itself, but the love of wisdom and trying to get it. It can also search for the nature of things, try to link cause and effect, and try to interpret human experiences. Educational philosophy is a philosophy that thinks about educational problems. Because it is related to education, philosophy is defined as a theory of education at all levels. Philosophy studies and thinks about the nature of everything in a comprehensive, systematic, integrated, universal and radical way, the results of which become guidelines and directions for the development of the sciences concerned. Education is always colored by a way of life. Among the views of life is rationalism. Rationalism is the notion that truth is obtained through reason and is measured by reason. Intellect is a tool for seeking and measuring truth. So philosophical education is very important, because in the educational process, truth becomes the goal. Al-Attas (in Ahmad Tafsir) the purpose of Islamic education is to become a good human being, so the purpose of Islamic education is the formation of a person with a Muslim personality, thus a strong and comprehensive view of life is needed, and is not easy to change.
